Andy Carl

Andy Carl has a strong background in IT and leadership roles. Andy is currently working as the Sr. Director of IT at Hudsonville Creamery and Ice Cream since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Director of IT at Duluth Trading Company from 2018 to 2022, where they led various IT service delivery functions. From 2014 to 2018, Andy worked as the Director of Enterprise Architecture and IT Effectiveness at Donaldson, where they had leadership responsibilities in several areas. Before that, they held the position of Sr. VP of Strategy Services at Bremer Bank from 2010 to 2014, where they acted as the lead architect during a core banking migration project. Andy also worked at SUPERVALU, Inc. as a Sr. Manager of Enterprise Architecture from 2001 to 2010, leading a team and overseeing various corporate merger workstreams. Andy began their career at Cargill, Inc. as an EAI Development Manager, managing integration services and acting as a lead architect for an ERP integration project.

Andy Carl obtained a Masters degree in Systems Design and Development from the University of St. Thomas. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science at the University of Minnesota. Besides their academic degrees, Andy also holds certifications as a Certified Specialist of Wine and French Wine Scholar.
