Kimberly N. Wilson, JD has a wealth of professional experience in the fields of healthcare, journalism, and digital marketing. In 2018, they founded HUED, a healthcare engagement solution tailored to address the needs of Black and Latino populations. Kimberly N. also served as an Adjunct Professor at Howard University and New York University that same year. In 2021, they joined Female Founders Fund as an Entrepreneur in Residence.
From 2018 to 2021, Wilson was a Contributing Editor at Essence Communications Inc., where they conducted original interviews and reporting for written and video content, pitched and provided expertise and cultural context for stories related to the Black community, and served as the contracted project manager and talent lead for the 2018 and 2019 ESSENCE Festival.
In 2018, Wilson was also an Executive Leadership Program Fellow at the Council of Urban Professionals and a Senior Editor, Social + Content Strategy at Experian. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Director, Social Media and Digital Strategy at theGrio and an Adjunct Professor at Iona College.
Wilson has also been a Freelance Digital, Social Media and Content Strategy Consultant since 2009, providing strategic marketing and digital consultation for a variety of lifestyle, music and entertainment brands.
Kimberly N. Wilson, JD received their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Howard University School of Law and their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Maryland, where they studied Communication.
