Mike Purpura

Mike Purpura is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in both private practice and public service. Currently serving as a Partner at Hueston Hennigan LLP since December 2020, Purpura previously held significant roles including Deputy Counsel to the President at The White House from January 2019 to December 2020, and Chief Legal Officer at BlackSand Capital between November 2017 and December 2018. Prior to these positions, Purpura accumulated a wealth of experience as a Partner at Carlsmith Ball LLP and in various roles within The White House and the U.S. Department of Justice. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
