Marco Barato

Marco Barato has extensive work experience in quality management and operations in the automotive industry. Marco began their career in 1995 at Bomoro Bocklenberg & Motte GmbH, where they worked in logistics. In 1996, they joined Robert Bosch as a Quality Technician and later became a Quality Engineer and Plant Quality Manager. During their time at Bosch, they oversaw customer complaint investigations and implemented quality management systems. In 2003, Marco joined Brose Group as a Plant Quality Director and later became a Plant Manager and Plant Quality Manager. Marco was responsible for maintaining quality and environment management systems, conducting internal audits, and coordinating customer complaint investigations. In 2021, Marco joined Huf Group as the Director of Quality Operations for the Americas, where they are responsible for total quality in operations, project development, and business system management for various locations.

Marco Barato obtained their High School Diploma in Business and Administration from Escola Secundaria de Tondela in the years 1992 to 1995. Marco later attended Instituto Politécnico de Viseu starting in 2007 but did not complete their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Engineering and Industrial Management.
