Simon Blankenstein

Simon Blankenstein has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Simon is currently working as the CIO/Senior Vice President of IT at Huf Group since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the IT Director (CIO) for Continental Europe at Johnson Controls from July 2019 to September 2022. In this role, they were responsible for developing the IT strategy, managing IT solutions for 19 countries, and working on ERP transformation to improve operational efficiency. Before joining Johnson Controls, Simon worked as the Head of CIO Office at DKV Euro Service from June 2018 to July 2019. Simon also has experience in various roles at RWE, including Head of Global Workplace Services, Head of IT Strategy & Organisational Development, Senior Financial Manager, Senior Business Change Manager, and SAP Consultant.

Simon Blankenstein completed the CIO Leadership Excellence Program at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management from 2015 to 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and IT Management from FHDW University of applied sciences from 2002 to 2005, with a focus on Economics.
