Torsten Kuhlmann

Torsten Kuhlmann is an experienced engineering professional specializing in sensor and product development within the automotive sector. Currently serving as the Head of Sensor Development at Huf Group since April 2018, Torsten leads teams in door sensor development. Prior to this role, Torsten held positions as a Principal Product Engineer at both Visteon Corporation and Johnson Controls Automotive GmbH, and as a Component Lead Engineer focused on optical sensors. Torsten's early career included roles as an Elektronik-Ingenieur at Bertrandt, a Projekt- und Entwicklungsingenieur Multimedia at Ford-Werke GmbH, and a Validation Engineer at Delphi. Torsten holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Elektrotechnik from Hochschule Bielefeld, completed in 2000.
