Paul Seed is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and systems management. Currently serving as the Head of IT Infrastructure at Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève since September 2003, Paul leads a team of over 25 engineers overseeing critical areas such as server management, client support, storage solutions, backups, and database management. Previously, Paul held the role of Head of Systems and Databases, managing a team focused on vital systems infrastructure, and worked as a Senior System Engineer specializing in Linux/UNIX systems. Prior to this, Paul gained experience as a Bioinformatics Scientist at GeneProt, a Software Architect at Hewlett-Packard, and a Software Engineer at Ionica, as well as a Consultant at Logica. Paul holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester.
