Jared Aquino

Jared Aquino is a project manager for Hughes Marino, an award-winning commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation and project management. Jared brings extensive construction and project management experience to Hughes Marino’s program, project, and construction management team.

Jared earned his Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, and began his career within the construction industry as a field engineer for Hensel Phelps Construction Company. While at Hensel Phelps, Jared completed the renovation of three San Diego City College buildings, which included structural upgrades and a complete site overhaul. After completing these renovations, Jared worked on the exterior skin package for a 380,000 square-foot research facility in Riverside, California for California Air Resources Board.

Prior to joining Hughes Marino, Jared served as an Associate Project Manager for Sharp Healthcare, a leading health care system in the San Diego area. While at Sharp Healthcare, Jared worked on various infrastructure and construction-related capital improvement projects for one of Sharp Healthcare’s active hospitals. He worked with Sharp Leadership to achieve Sharp’s vision while simultaneously minimizing disruption to patients and staff to the greatest extent possible. Most recently, Jared used his construction and project management experience to address hospital infrastructure needs during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
