Chris O'Dell

Chris O'Dell is an experienced sales and marketing executive with a strong background in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Europe at Hughes Network Systems since July 2011, O'Dell has held significant positions at Huawei, including UK Sales Director for Fixed Line Operators and Director of International Carriers and Channel Business from January 2005 to June 2011. Prior to this, O'Dell worked at Nortel in various roles from September 1998 to December 2004, such as EMEA Business Development Manager and Northern Europe LAN Technical Sales Manager. O'Dell's career began at Bell Northern Research, where a team leadership role in European Voice Billing Software Development was held from September 1994 to September 1998. Educational credentials include a BEng in Electrical & Electronics with Business Studies from the University of Bradford.
