Anca Szilagyi

Anca Szilagyi is an experienced creative writing instructor with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum design. Currently, Anca teaches at Atlas Obscura and The Newberry, conducting seminars focused on fairy tales and various aspects of creative writing. Anca also instructs courses at StoryStudio Chicago and Richard Hugo House, and offers writing coaching and editorial services as a self-employed professional. Previously, Anca served as an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University and has experience teaching academically talented youth at the Center for Talent Development. Anca holds multiple degrees, including an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Washington and an M.A. in TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University.
