Hugs for Ghana
"Hugs for Ghana" is an entirely student-run non-profit organization dedicated to giving gifts of hope and love to underprivileged children in Ghana, West Africa. Since its inception in 2007, "Hugs for Ghana" has hand-delivered over $75,000 worth of material and monetary donations; established projects in 5 different countries; recruited over 150 active volunteers; and received recognition for organizations such as the Jackie Robinson Foundation, Coca-Cola Company, Build-a-bear Workshop, AXA Foundation, National Caring Award, and more.
