Michael Wadsworth

Michael Wadsworth has extensive work experience at Huhtamaki, starting in 1991 as a Maintenance and Engineering Manager. Michael then served as the Manager of Safety, Distribution, and Support Services from 2004 to 2006, where they led the promotion of a behavior-based safety culture and managed warehouse and distribution efforts for the west coast molded fiber facility. From 2006 onwards, they held various roles at Huhtamaki, including Operations Manager, Rough Finish & Lamination Department Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Plant Manager, and currently, Director of Operations - Plastics since May 2021.

Michael Wadsworth has a diverse education history. In 1987, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix between 1998 and 2000. In 2023, they attended INSEAD and completed the Huhtamaki The Strategic Leadership Program, focusing on Organizational Leadership. Additionally, they obtained a certification in 6 Sigma Green Belt from Huhtamaki in 2007. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed various courses on digital transformation, managing innovation, customer service leadership, strategic agility, digital leadership, cognitive technologies, e-commerce fundamentals, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, persuasion ethics, machine learning for marketing, workplace communication, and other subjects, mostly obtained from LinkedIn.
