Kevin Vainio

Kevin Vainio is a skilled mechanical engineer with a focus on additive manufacturing and space engineering. Currently serving as a Business Manager for Space & Defence at Huld since March 2020, Kevin specializes in optimizing designs for Additive Manufacturing to enhance product efficiency, reduce lead times, and lower costs. Prior to this role, Kevin contributed to the design of rally cars at Tommi Mäkinen Racing and worked on various mechanical engineering projects with a strong emphasis on integrating additive manufacturing techniques at RD Velho Oy. Kevin's experience also includes engineering roles at Elomatic Oy and internships that provided hands-on design and prototyping experience. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from JAMK University of Applied Sciences.
