Sarah Oxford

Sarah Oxford has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sarah began their career as a Medical Records Assistant at Pacific Eye Associates from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Producer's Assistant at UCSB Film and Media, where they successfully managed a Kickstarter campaign and raised $4,740 for a student-run animated film.

Sarah then transitioned to the UCSB English Department as a Research Fellow in 2017. Sarah contributed to the Transverse Reading Research Project, conducting archival research, encoding game narratives, and compiling research results for a published research report.

In the same year, Sarah also worked as a Student Ambassador at the UCSB Annual Fund, successfully fundraising over $50,000 in one quarter. Sarah was later promoted to Fundraising Supervisor, managing student callers, analyzing statistics, and making recommendations to the Associate Director. Sarah also played a significant role in planning the UCSB Give Day 2018, which raised over $5.6 million.

Sarah's next role was as a Fundraising Coordinator at the UCSB Reel Loud Film & Arts Festival, where they managed fundraising efforts, initiated a crowdfunding campaign, and secured auction donations.

Sarah then joined Metric Theory | A Media.Monks Company in 2019 as an Account Manager, gradually progressing to the role of Senior Account Manager. In this position, Sarah managed SEM accounts ranging from $25,000 to $1,000,000+ in monthly spend. Their responsibilities included keyword research, analysis of full-funnel data sets, executing search strategies, and providing recommendations to clients. Additionally, Sarah played a key role in driving user generation for a B2C Lead Gen client in the FinTech App space.

Finally, Sarah currently holds the position of Senior Growth Manager, Paid Search at HUM Nutrition from 2023.

Sarah Oxford attended UC Santa Barbara from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies.
