Mahmoud Ibrahem

Mahmoud Ibrahem has a diverse background in software engineering and management roles. Mahmoud currently holds the position of Lead Technical Product Manager at Huma, where they have led the successful development and delivery of a healthcare product. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Product Manager at the same company, where they were responsible for defining the product vision, gathering requirements, and managing the development team.

Before joining Huma, Mahmoud worked as a Software Architect at DGNET TECHNOLOGIES, where they designed and implemented complex software systems. Mahmoud also worked as a Technical Lead at admiral.digital, where they managed projects and engineering teams to deliver successful technical strategies.

Earlier in their career, Mahmoud held the position of System Engineer at Huawei, where they conducted requirements analysis and designed system architectures. Mahmoud also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Oryx Egypt, where they developed software modules for government projects. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at ICAN, where they developed technical solutions and maintained legacy code.

Outside of their professional roles, Mahmoud has been involved in the open-source community as an Ubuntu Official Member. Mahmoud has also worked as an Instructor, teaching courses on communication and software engineering.

Mahmoud Ibrahem earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, which they attended from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they studied at the Orman Language School from 1995 to 2008, where they completed their secondary education. Mahmoud has also obtained a certification in Introduction to Systems Engineering from UNSW in 2019.
