Kushal Vashi

Kushal Vashi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development and technical program management, currently serving as Sr. Product Lead / Technical Program Manager at Nikola Corporation since April 2021. In this role, Kushal has developed product vision by gathering customer feedback and aligning cross-functional teams, while also managing partnerships with stakeholders. Prior to Nikola, Kushal worked as a Product Lead Engineer, where responsibilities included developing simulation models for thermal systems in FCEV and BEV powertrains. At Ford Motor Company, Kushal contributed as a Systems Integration Engineer, optimizing energy consumption of HVAC systems, which led to significant range improvements for BEVs and substantial energy savings. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master's in Systems Engineering from MIT, and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, alongside a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University.
