Peter Vonk

Peter Vonk is an experienced professional in the fields of law enforcement, policy advising, and human rights, currently serving as an Advisor for the Human Environment at the Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport since December 2023. Previously, Peter held the position of Senior Advisor at the Nederlandse Arbeidsinspectie from February 2012 to December 2023, focusing on fraud detection and organized crime in the labor sector. Peter's earlier roles included Senior Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Security and Justice, Expert on Labour Exploitation at Europol, and Policy Advisor at the Ministerie van Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid, with a strong emphasis on social security abuse and legal policy support. Peter began professional career as an Objection and Appeals Officer at UWV. Peter holds a Master's degree in Dutch Law from Utrecht University and a Maitrise in Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
