Apala Chavan

Apala Chavan is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in design and innovation. As a Co-Founder and Global Chief of Technical Staff at Human Factors International since January 2000, Apala has held multiple leadership roles including Chief Design and Delivery Officer, Chief Oracle and Innovator, and Managing Director of HFI India. Additionally, Apala serves as Chair of the National Design & Innovation Committee at the Internet and Mobile Association of India since November 2019 and as CEO of the HFI Institute of Customer Experience since January 2012. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Design from Srishti Institute of Art Design and Technology and studies at Hindu College, Delhi University, and London Metropolitan University.
