Marcus Hodges

Marcus Hodges, PhD, currently serves as the Intramural Training Office Director at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) since July 2024. Prior to this role, Marcus held the position of Director of Intramural Training and Education at Axle Informatics from September 2021 to July 2024, and at Kelly Government Solutions from November 2019 to September 2021. Additional experience includes serving as Fellowship Director at Consultants in Disease and Injury Control from November 2016 to October 2019, and at Frontline Healthcare Workers Safety Foundation from May 2011 to October 2016. Earlier in the career, Marcus was a Biosafety-Biosecurity Specialist at BNBI and a Fellow at the National Biosafety and Biocontainment Training Program. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Biology from Howard University, completed between 2000 and 2005.
