Jonathan Forbes

Jonathan Forbes, Ph.D., currently serves as the Senior Development Director at Human Options, Inc., a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Jonathan was the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Orangewood Foundation from August 2020 to October 2024, focusing on developing partnerships for sustainable fundraising and enhancing the foundation's public presence in foster and youth services. Jonathan's career at UC Santa Barbara spanned from July 2005 to July 2020, where roles included Grant Writer for the Division of Student Affairs, Instructor of English & Writing, Doctoral Scholars Graduate Fellow, Graduate Admissions Coordinator, and Writing and Study Skills Tutor. Jonathan holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in English, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English & Spanish, all from UC Santa Barbara.
