Andrew Dawson

Andrew Dawson serves as the Chief People Officer and Head of Corporate Affairs at BVI Medical since June 2020, leading global Human Resources and Communications for a rapidly growing surgical ophthalmic business. With a strong background in HR leadership, Andrew has held key positions at several organizations, including Entasis Therapeutics, Enzyvant, and TripAdvisor, demonstrating expertise in people strategy, organizational design, and executive partnership. Andrew's career spans over two decades in various HR roles across prominent companies, including Shire, Roche/Genentech, and Novartis, focusing on global HR functions and talent management. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Human Resources and Development from The University of Salford and a Masters Certificate in Strategic Human Resources from Michigan State University. Andrew actively contributes to the HR community as a board member of HRLF and as an official member of the Forbes Human Resources Council.
