Nick Gao

Nick Gao has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nick started their career at Bank of Montreal in 1996 as a Data Specialist and worked there until 1999. In 1999, they joined HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association as a System Support Specialist. Nick then moved up within the organization and held the position of Information Systems Manager from 2001 to 2012. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Information Technology at HRPA.

Nick Gao holds a Master's degree in Information Systems, which they obtained from Lawrence Technological University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1992, they attended Beijing Technological University and earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Management Information Systems. Nick has also obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in February 2022, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS in January 2022, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2021, and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in February 2019.
