Alex Schyllander began their education by earning an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities from Monroe County Community College in 2016. In 2017, they took part in a study abroad program at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana- Xochimilco, although no degree or field of study is specified for this experience.
