Cheryl Greene

Cheryl Greene leads the Welcoming Schools team that trains and equips educators to create safe and affirming spaces for all kids and families across the country. Welcoming Schools has over 60 facilitators nationwide and the program has impacted over 10.5 million students.

Cheryl was a classroom teacher, school leader and basketball coach for over two decades before joining Welcoming Schools. During that time, it became clear to her that until students feel safe, respected and valued, very little learning occurs. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Arizona and a Master's Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Educational Leadership.
