Don Kiser has a diverse work experience spanning from 1987 to present. Don worked as the Vice President of Merchandising at Door Store Furniture from 1987 to 1994, where they were responsible for developing key merchandising concepts and marketing strategies to enhance the customer experience. Don also analyzed product performance and market trends to drive revenue growth and expansion.

Since 1995, Don has been working at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) as the Creative Director. In this role, they played a pivotal role in advancing HRC as a leading civil rights organization working towards LGBTQ+ equality. Don managed and collaborated on various creative aspects of HRC's marketing communications, including branding, publications, retail merchandising, and the strategic use of digital media. Don also led internal teams and freelance resources in designing and developing effective marketing projects. Additionally, they managed the retail, online, and mobile sales functions to grow HRC's membership and supporter base.

Don Kiser attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture.
