Mohamed Keita is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy development and communication within the human rights and international development sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Officer for Africa at the Human Rights Foundation since December 2015, Mohamed has also engaged with the Oslo Freedom Forum as a Speaker Coordinator and Talk Development Coach since May 2016. As the Commissioning Editor for Visual Journalism at Pin Africa, initiated in October 2022, Mohamed has contributed to enhancing impactful visual storytelling. Prior roles include Communication Specialist at Rotary International, where significant advancements in digital storytelling for international development programs were achieved, and various positions at the Committee to Protect Journalists, focusing on advocacy and analysis within the Africa Program. Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Editorial Design and Publishing from The City College of New York.
