Jamie McGinnis currently serves as the Manager of Legal Services and Legal Counsel at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre, offering legal advice to applicants navigating the Ontario Human Rights complaint process since November 2011. Additionally, Jamie has experience as a sessional instructor at Lakehead University, where a 6-week intensive human rights program was developed for law students, and as a professor at Confederation College, teaching International Indigenous Human Rights. Previous roles include positions as a Supervisor at Tim Hortons and as a Research Assistant and Junior Reporting Officer with the Federal Government of Canada, where research and administrative support were provided. Jamie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice from Algoma University and certificates in management and change from the University of Waterloo and Schulich School of Business, respectively.
