Coordinator, Africa Division at Human Rights Watch

Anna Bruckner is currently serving as the Coordinator for the Africa Division at Human Rights Watch since November 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Program Assistant at the Social Science Research Council, focusing on the Conflict Prevention and Peace Forum in Africa from October 2022 to July 2023, and as a Major Economic Crimes Paralegal at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office from August 2020 to July 2022. Bruckner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Wesleyan University and has pursued education at Université Paris Cité and Ecole Alsacienne, where a Baccalauréat scientifique with a specialization in mathematics was obtained.
