Hayley Chesnik

Hayley Chesnik is a skilled grant writer and strategic collaborator with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as a Global Development and Outreach Grant Writer at Human Rights Watch since March 2022, Hayley manages relationships with major institutional donors and produces written materials for various programs. Prior to this role, Hayley was the Senior Director of Strategic Collaborations at United Way of Dane County, where responsibilities included overseeing proposal writing, program development, and community initiatives. Additional roles have included coaching in competitive swimming, serving as a Fellow at New Leaders Council, and engaging in various leadership and outreach positions aimed at promoting gender equality and education. Hayley holds a Master of Science in Global Affairs from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
