Isabelle de Wismes

Isabelle de Wismes joined HRW in 2013 as a member of the London Committee. She is a member of the European & Central Asia Advisory Committee and more recently joined the Finance Committee.

Isabelle is a former partner of Capital Group Companies, a 1.8 trillion dollar worldwide active fund management company. More recently, Isabelle was an Independent Director of one of the major restructurings in the European Bank landscape, serving on the Risk and Control Committee of Unicredit.

Through her professional career Isabelle has an extensive knowledge of many countries in the world, particularly in Europe and Latin America.

Her financial background includes successful investment management during several major crises, such as during the US subprime crisis, and a resilient contribution to the board of a major European bank’s transformation.

Her professional career gave her the capacity to work in a collegial manner in different cultural environments. Isabelle is a graduate of INSEAD’s International Director Programme.
