Mausi Segun

Executive Director, Africa at Human Rights Watch

Mausi Segun is the Executive Director for Africa at Human Rights Watch. Mausi has dedicated their career to human rights and has worked extensively in Nigeria and across Africa.

Ms. Segun started their career in 1993 as a Senior Legal Officer at the Federal Ministry of Justice in Nigeria. In 2000, they moved to the National Human Rights Commission, where they served as Zonal Coordinator until 2013.
