Travis Carr

Travis Carr is a highly experienced publications professional with a background in human rights documentation and editorial work. Since January 2020, Travis has held various roles at Human Rights Watch, progressing from Publications Design and Photo Coordinator to Senior Publications Coordinator and currently serves as Publications Officer. Responsibilities include project management of publications, coordinating text corrections, collaborating on multimedia deliverables, and maintaining a digital library. Prior to this, Travis worked at W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. from October 2014 to January 2020 as a Photo Editor and Editorial Assistant, handling image research, licensing, and providing editorial support for notable publications. Additional experience includes roles in visitor services at the Brooklyn Historical Society and internships at various art institutions. Travis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Art History from William & Mary.
