Tara Smith

Tara Smith, LCSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker currently working at Human Supports of Idaho since July 2020, focusing on mental health and addiction. Previous experience includes volunteering at Roosevelt Elementary School, assisting students with Individual Education Plans, and contributing to the Women’s and Children’s Alliance by linking clients to services and managing administrative tasks. Tara also interned at Family Advocates - Boise, delivering direct services and organizing activities, and had a decade-long career as a Medical Assistant in various healthcare settings, where responsibilities included patient education and care coordination. Tara obtained a Master of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor of Science in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University - Idaho. Additionally, a certificate as a Medical/Clinical Assistant was earned from Salt Lake Community College.
