Kylie Captain is a proud Gamilaroi woman and experienced educational leader with over two decades dedicated to driving meaningful change in Aboriginal education and wellbeing. Currently serving as a Board Member for NAPCAN and the President of the Aboriginal Studies Association, Kylie also holds roles as Founding Director of Dream Big Education Wellbeing & Consulting Pty Ltd, National Trainer for SMART Recovery Australia, and Trainer and Facilitator with Mackerel Sky. Kylie's extensive history includes positions at the NSW Department of Education and the New South Wales Department of Community Services, where responsibilities encompassed policy analysis and direct support for Aboriginal families. Kylie holds a Bachelor of Education in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education from Western Sydney University.
