Gaetano D’urso

Gaetano D'Urso is a CryoEM Specialist at Human Technopole since March 2024, with a solid background in structural biology and molecular biology. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Heidelberg from November 2022 to March 2024 and as a PhD Student in Structural Biology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology at Université de Rennes 1 from September 2019 to November 2022. Gaetano also completed a Post Master Internship at Université de Rennes 1 in 2019, focusing on the reconstruction and determination of 3D atomic models of ribosome structures through cryo-electron microscopy. Academic qualifications include a PhD from Université de Rennes I, and degrees in Biology and Biological Science from Università degli Studi di Salerno, supplemented by a high school qualification in scientific studies.
