Torsten Börchers

Torsten Börchers is a Quality Manager with extensive experience in Quality Management (ISO 9001/13485) and Regulatory Affairs for in vitro diagnostics, beginning in 2005. They previously held a leadership role in applied and fundamental research for 14 years, overseeing R&D projects across various funding sources. Currently serving as Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at HUMAN Gesellschaft für Biochemica und Diagnostica mbH, they are responsible for global registrations and CE marking of diagnostic products. Torsten has also contributed to academia through a teaching position at Fachhochschule Gelsenkirchen. They are pursuing a doctoral degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Münster.
