Joseph Kern

Joseph Kern is a seasoned learning and development professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Learning Design Professional at Humana since July 2022, Joseph focuses on designing onboarding and ongoing development programs, collaborating with subject matter experts, and providing essential learning resources. Previously, as a Corporate Impact Coach and Training & Professional Development Leader at Independent Care Health Plan from June 2005 to July 2022, Joseph was instrumental in maximizing employee potential through training design and project management. Earlier roles included Quality Training Manager at JCPenney Logistics, Senior Staff Development Trainer at ProVantage Health Management Services, and Lead Instructor at Bryant & Stratton College. Joseph holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
