Valerie Blankenship

Valerie Blankenship is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in program and project management, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration technology. Currently serving as the M&A Integration Technology Lead at Humana since August 2022, Valerie provides strategic guidance on IT integration for various growth opportunities and develops IT integration plans. Prior to Humana, Valerie held multiple leadership roles at McKesson from 2001 to 2022, including Lead IT Program Manager and Program Manager for the M&A Office, where responsibilities included delivering strategic technology programs and managing cross-functional teams through the M&A lifecycle. Valerie’s career also includes significant positions at SunTrust Bank, BellSouth Business, Inacom Information Systems Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation, demonstrating a strong background in technology delivery, vendor relations, and business operations. Valerie holds certifications as a PMP, SAFe Agilist, and ITIL v3, alongside education from The University of Georgia.
