Emily Laurel Stennes

Emily Laurel Stennes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Emily Laurel recently held the position of Director of Special Events and Sponsorships at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington. Prior to that, they worked as an Impact Producer at Sally Rubin Films. Emily also has a significant amount of self-employed experience as an Event Producer, where they managed and produced a wide range of events for private, non-profit, and corporate clients. Additionally, they have held positions such as Communications and Operations Manager at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at Portland State University, University Event Coordinator at Portland State University, and Event Manager at The Foundry at Oswego Pointe. Earlier in their career, Emily co-founded Oak & Rose School for Early Childhood, showcasing their passion for education and entrepreneurial leadership.

Emily Laurel Stennes attended The Evergreen State College from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Liberal Arts with a focus in Arts and Events Management. In 2003 to 2004, they also briefly studied at the University of North Dakota, focusing on Art/Art Studies, General. In 2016 to 2017, Emily pursued Advanced Small Business Management at Portland Community College.
