Humane Society of Charlotte
Kim Heenan, MSHRD, PHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resource Operations at Best Friends Animal Society, where responsibilities have included overseeing multiple HR functions since July 2018. Kim has also played an active role as a volunteer with the Humane Society of Charlotte and the USO of North Carolina. Prior experience includes positions such as Director of Client Delivery and Global Practice Leader at PeopleScout, where leadership encompassed talent acquisition service delivery and operational support for global talent acquisition processes. Kim's earlier career at Aon Hewitt involved managerial oversight of talent acquisition implementation and global operations. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Science in Human Resources Development from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science in General Business from Radford University.
Humane Society of Charlotte
The Humane Society of Charlotte believes in working to improve our community by creating new, loving families, and building a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals. This is an ongoing process — for every animal we can connect with a new family, another animal in need comes to HSC’s shelter. As a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the HSC relies on the generous support of animal lovers, grants, bequests, and fees for service. HSC is not affiliated with any other animal welfare organizations and we do not receive government funding.
