Christina Trabanco

Christina Trabanco, DVM, MPH, currently serves as Veterinary Medical Director and Shelter Veterinarian at the Humane Society of Greater Miami since July 2023. Previous experience includes the role of Veterinary Programs Manager at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services from May 2022 to June 2023, and Associate Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital from August 2019 to May 2022. Christina Trabanco also contributed to agricultural biosecurity research at Kansas State University in 2019, served as a Veterinary Pathology Extern at the University of Illinois Zoological Pathology Program, and conducted global health research in collaboration with the Oloisukut Conservancy in Kenya. Other roles include externships with USDA APHIS and working as a Veterinary Technician at Miami Veterinary Specialists. Educational credentials include a Doctor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences and a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota.
