Susan Fleming

Susan Fleming is an accomplished event planner with extensive experience in planning and executing fundraising events. Currently serving as an Event Planner at CommonSpirit Health since February 2023, Susan has also been the Events Manager for the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region since March 2015, where fundraising efforts have generated over $800,000 annually for homeless and abused animals. Notable events organized include the Fur Ball gala, which attracts 500 guests and raises over $550,000, and Pawtoberfest, drawing over 1,800 attendees and raising nearly $200,000. Previous roles include Associate Editor at InsideFlyer Magazine, Events Manager at 3C Event Center, Senior Mortgage Loan Officer at Assurity Financial Services, Development Officer, and Community Resource/Recruitment Director at Community Partnership for Child Development/Head Start. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from James Madison University, earned between 1990 and 1994.
