With a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Business Administration, Cristie is well-equipped to lead medical operations and provide contract veterinary services. With a Certificate of Shelter Medicine Residency from the University of California, Davis, Cristie has honed their expertise in caring for animals in shelter environments.

Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter that has been serving people and pets since 1929. Our mission is to save lives, keep families together, and create a better future for pets and their people. We offer quality adoptions, affordable spaying/neutering, vaccinations and microchip services, pet care services and education programs to enhance the human-animal bond. We are the first Animal Community Center in the nation to receive Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
