Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter that has been serving people and pets since 1929. Our mission is to save lives, keep families together, and create a better future for pets and their people. 

We offer quality adoptions, affordable spaying/neutering, vaccinations and microchip services, pet care services and education programs to enhance the human-animal bond.   

We are the first Animal Community Center in the nation to receive Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Comprised of senior executives such as the Chief Development Officer, VP IT And Facility, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Of Shelter Medicine, President, Vice President, Finance, Vice President, Strategic Growth, and Chief Of People, the team collaborates to ensure the mission of saving lives, keeping families together, and creating a better future for pets and their people is achieved effectively and sustainably. They oversee major functions including development, operations, medical care, finance, strategic growth, and human resources to align with HSSV's goals and community impact.
