Diana Ellis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and development roles within various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President at City Seeds, a Humanim Social Enterprise since June 2020, and at Humanim since August 2016, Diana's expertise spans strategic partnerships, communications, marketing, and economic development. Diana is also a graduate of The Leadership Class of 2022 and Leadership Maryland Class of 2017, participating in programs aimed at addressing vital social, economic, and environmental issues in Maryland. Previous positions include Director of Development at Good Shepherd Services and Resource Development Director at The Salvation Army. Diana holds an M.B.A. and B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Charleston, as well as a High School Diploma from Broken Bow High School and a Math & Computer Science diploma from Liceul Rosca Codreanu in Romania.

Our mission is to support and empower individuals who face social or economic challenges — by building pathways to economic equity, opportunity, and independence. With a staff of over 300, Humanim provides services to over 4,000 individuals a year. Humanim has a 50 year history of supporting and economically empowering individuals. We do this through 35+ programs in the areas of human services, youth services, workforce development, and social enterprise throughout Maryland. Our organization was founded on the belief that every human being has potential and that work is transformative, with the goal of creating economic equity for individuals with disabilities and socio-economic challenges.
