CTO at Humanising Autonomy

Raunaq Bose is the CTO at Humanising Autonomy. Prior to this, they worked as a Design Engineer at Takram Design Engineering, where they conceptualised and proposed future products for a major consumer electronics company, assisted in the digital and physical development of various commercial and non-commercial projects and installations, and helped design and implement Takram’s Scenes Unseen exhibition during London Design Festival 2016. They also worked as a Mechanical + Software Engineer at Elvie, where they helped develop Elvie - a wearable women’s healthcare device - with emphasis on design for manufacture, testing procedures, sensor characterisation, software algorithm development and user-testing data analysis. They were involved in the R&D of new sensors and their potential application in healthcare solutions of the future, contributed to a patent, and co-authored two successful major grant applications; Elvie was awarded the prize for ‘Best R&D’ at the Design Museum AXA PPP Health Tech & You Award 2015 and a Red Dot Product Design award in 2016.

Raunaq Bose holds an MA / MSc in Innovation Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art, where they graduated with distinction. Raunaq also holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Imperial College London, and is a graduate of Whitgift School.
