Maria Thorne is a content consultant and celebrant with extensive experience in digital media and ceremony creation. Since February 2015, Maria has worked as a freelance content consultant, emphasizing the significance of web-based communication. Concurrently, as a wedding and naming celebrant for Humanists UK since January 2017, Maria crafts personalized ceremonies. Prior to this, Maria held the position of Content Production Manager at the Met Office from March 2008 to August 2016, where responsibilities included developing a content strategy and managing multimedia projects aimed at engaging diverse audiences. Additionally, Maria was an Information Manager at Exeter City Council from 2005 to 2008, overseeing information flows and implementing technology solutions.
