Kristen Childs

Kristen Childs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kristen started their career as a Range Specialist Intern at the Natural Resource Conservation Service in 2004 and worked there until 2008. In 2014, Kristen joined the Town of Windsor, Open Areas Department as a Forestry Technician, where they stayed until 2015. Kristen then transitioned into the software development field and worked as a Software Developer at ADP from September 2016 to July 2018. Kristen then joined ArchaeWorldSimulations as a Web Engineer from April 2017 to July 2018. Kristen gained further experience as a Software Engineer at Ace Info Solutions, Inc. from July 2018 to December 2019. Currently, Kristen is employed as a DevOps Engineer at HumanIT Solutions, starting in August 2020.

Kristen Childs attended Colorado State University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Rangeland and Forest Management. In addition to their degree, Kristen has also obtained several certifications. Kristen became an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer II in February 2020 and an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer in April 2016. Furthermore, they acquired the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification in July 2021 and the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification in May 2020.
