Unai Sanchez Luque

Unai Sanchez Luque has a varied work experience that began in 2011, where they served as a Warehouse Responsible at Mondragon Unibertsitatea, handling receiving and shipping orders, distribution, and client service. Unai then moved on to work as a Technical Support and Programmer at Abantail, providing technical support and programming in C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

In 2014, Unai worked as a Data Scientist at IK4-IDEKO, conducting surveys on automatic information processing techniques and studying data mining algorithms.

From 2016 to 2017, they held multiple roles at inLab FIB, including collaborating in training, where they worked on the development of a web application for Learning Analytics purposes and studied project structuring and web development. Unai also worked on a Master thesis, designing and developing a learning platform based on personalized learning itineraries and real-time monitoring.

In 2016 and 2017, Unai served as a Dreamer - Software Developer at Imagine Creativity Center, where they focused on software development and prototyping for Internet of Things (IoT) applications in the field of Health and Wellness.

In 2018, Unai worked as a Lead Data Scientist at Raona and as a Data Scientist at Catalana Occidente. Unai'sresponsibilities included data analysis and algorithm application.

Since April 2018, Unai has been employed as the Chief Technology Officer at humanITcare, overseeing technology operations and strategy.

Unai Sanchez Luque received a Master's degree in Innovation and Research in Informatics with a specialization in Advanced Computing from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Grado in Ingeniería en informática from Mondragon Unibertsitatea from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, Unai Sanchez Luque completed an Engineering program in Computer Engineering at Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse from 2013 to 2014.

Unai Sanchez Luque also holds several certifications. In 2022, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge Assessment English. In 2018, they acquired several certifications from Johns Hopkins University School of Education, including "Building a Data Science Team," "A Crash Course in Data Science," "Data Science in Real Life," "Executive Data Science," "Executive Data Science Capstone," and "Managing Data Analysis." Unai also obtained a certification in "Internet of Things: How did we get here?" from the University of California, San Diego in 2016.
