Chris Stephenson

CTO at Humanitec

Chris Stephenson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chris is currently the CTO at Humanitec, a position they have held since July 2019. Prior to that, they were the Product Lead at kununu engage from November 2017 to May 2019, and a Product Manager at Planet Labs Inc. from May 2017 to October 2017.

From 2014 to 2017, Chris worked at Google as a Product Manager, where they led the product side of two internal platforms focusing on scaling Google's business organization. Chris also co-founded Orangegate Ltd in 2007 and served as the Co-Founder until March 2015.

Before that, Chris had roles at Lloyd's of London as the Manager of the High Performance Computing Group from June 2012 to March 2014, and as a High Performance Computing Engineer from January 2011 to May 2012. Chris was also a Senior Consultant at Detica in 2010 and a Consultant at Infusion Development from August 2009 to July 2010.

Chris Stephenson began their career as a Technology Scholar at Cambridge Consultants from September 2004 to June 2005. Throughout their work experience, Chris has gained extensive expertise in product management, high-performance computing, and consulting.

Chris Stephenson attended the University of Cambridge from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a MEng degree in Information and Computer Engineering. In 2007, they also studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a year, focusing on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, although it is unspecified whether they obtained a degree from MIT.
